The Wire Association International presents this Marshall V. Yokelson Medal Award to Gil Baker in recognition of his exceptional contribution to the technical literature of the Wire Industry as author of the most meritorious technical paper presented during 1993 in the Nonferrous Division.

Increased drawing speed generally resulted in decreased friction coefficient, and increased as-drawn yield strength.
