VOLUNTEER WORK:

Member of Ohio University's Mechanical Engineering Advisory Board from 2002 to summer 2006.  The board works on the college's ABET accreditation issues, assists with the Senior Capstone Design Course and makes recommendations on the curriculum.  After reviewing student focus-group data and correlating our observations we issue a yearly report suggesting improvements that will increase the ability to meet ABET Outcomes and will increase industry's design for OU graduates.  In other words, this work is comparable to quality management in industry.   Here is a link to the department's web site.
